We offer a transferable lifetime warranty across all our window film tiers — Carbon Select, Ceramic IR, and Ceramic IR Max. It covers cracking, peeling, bubbling, delamination, fading, and color change for the life of the film. Because it’s transferable, it stays with the vehicle if you sell it.

Note that our satin and color paint protection films carry a 10-year warranty rather than a lifetime one — different material, different coverage.

Yes. We install architectural window film for homes and commercial buildings across Long Island, for heat control, glare reduction, UV protection, and privacy. Call the shop and we’ll schedule a site visit.

Our film uses a strong adhesive for durability, so on removal some adhesive typically remains on the glass rather than transferring cleanly with the film. That residue is removed as part of our removal process — you never see it. This is exactly why DIY removal goes badly: the film comes off in pieces and the glue stays behind.

We don’t recommend installing window film on plexiglass or plastic windows. The adhesive and the plastic don’t get along, and outgassing from the plastic causes the film to haze and lift.

Heat reduction, eye comfort, UV protection, appearance, privacy, security, and reduced load on your air conditioning. On an electric vehicle, the last one translates directly into range.

The percentage refers to Visible Light Transmission — how much light passes through the film. Lower percentage means darker film. A 5% film is limousine dark; a 70% film is barely visible.

Here’s what most people get wrong: darkness and heat rejection are different properties. Modern ceramic film gives you excellent heat rejection at light shades. You do not need dark tint to get a cool car.

Yes. Moisture remaining between the film and the glass after installation causes a hazy, streaky, or blotchy appearance. The film needs several days to fully cure while that moisture evaporates through it. Depending on the film and the weather, this takes a few days to a few weeks — longer in cold, damp conditions. When it’s finished evaporating, your glass will be perfectly clear.

No. Window film is installed on the inside of the glass, which protects it from weather, car washes, and ice scrapers, and is what makes a lifetime warranty possible in the first place.

Wait a week after installation before cleaning the inside of the glass. After that, use an ammonia-free, film-safe glass cleaner with a soft microfiber cloth. Never use a blade, a scraper, or anything abrasive on the film, and avoid ammonia-based household glass cleaners — ammonia breaks down the film’s adhesive and topcoat over time.

Leave your windows up for at least 24 to 36 hours after installation. The film needs that time to cure and adhere before the glass moves through the seal.

Yes. Ultraviolet radiation is the primary cause of both fading and material deterioration — the same sun that lights your cabin is destroying your leather, fabric, and dashboard. Our window film screens up to 99% of UV.

New York requires front side windows to allow at least 70% of light through. Rear windows can be any darkness provided the vehicle has side mirrors, and a non-reflective strip is permitted above the AS-1 line on the windshield. We install to spec and we’ll tell you plainly if what you’re asking for won’t pass inspection.

Most vehicles are completed in two to four hours. Drop off in the morning and pick up the same afternoon.
