Every percentage on this page refers to Visible Light Transmission — the amount of light the film lets through. A 5% film transmits 5% of light and looks nearly black. A 70% film transmits 70% and is barely noticeable.
The number people get wrong most often: darkness and heat rejection are not the same thing. A 70% ceramic film will out-perform a 5% dyed film on heat by a wide margin. If you want a cool cabin, buy construction, not darkness.

I had PPF installed on the front end of my new M3. They have great customer service and were very responsive to all of my questions when deciding on where to have the job done. The shop is very clean and you can tell they take pride in their work. I will definitely be going back for tint and some other services in the future. Very happy with my experience. Rami and his team were very helpful and the turn around was super quick.
